Logistics Leader



• Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals, including delivery functions and inventory management
• Develop and initiate monthly reports having required project timelines, corporate metrics and productivity measurements
• Lead training, career development and enrichment of all department associates
• Support inventory management consisting of reconciling and maintaining of finished goods inventory by SKU along with lot date at 3PL locations
• Establish and manage relations with warehouse, principal, third party delivery providers, sales force and customers
• Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability and reduce Logistics cost
• Oversee and monitor availability of stocks to reduce shortages
• Negotiate and support Logistics costs meant for 3rd party Logistics providers assisting yearly budget goals
• Ensure to process orders and on time delivery by network of customer and warehouses
• Plan and arrange Logistics-required deliveries, support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate Logistics processes and enhance efficiencies
• Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to top management
• Lead teams to develop, articulate and maintain Logistics processes and accurate documentation of every product movement via KA/IMR sales invoices, van loading slips and warehouse-to-warehouse transfers
• Lead teams to develop Logistics systems that would produce daily inventory reports accuracy (IRA)
• Supervise teams in minimizing and monitoring non-performing inventories
• Continuous assessment and reduction of Logistics operations cost
• Inventory reporting per location – expired, damaged and returns
• Ensure achievement of OTD targets and provide contingency plans when the need arises
• Coordinate with HR the daily staffing of delivery teams and trucking requirement to serve daily deliveries
• Facilitate inspection of delivery trucks for damages and coordinates approval of repairs
